From
the occasional pub song
in Lancashire, England to
live shows and TV in the USA, David Hutchinson has made his
way in the world of music and he is also an award winning
songwriter. In November of 2007 he
was invited to perform his song "Washington Wall" at the National Mall in Washington, DC.
on the 25th anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans
Memorial. The Wall, as it is known, is the most
visited monument in the USA.
Included in his repertoire of songs are tributes to
several iconic people and places. One of his most recent recordings called "The King is Callin Back Again", was
recorded by the world's number one Elvis Tribute
Artist Shawn Klush. Shawn and David met in Chicago
to record this outstanding song.
David, who now calls Ft Lauderdale, Florida his
home, has carefully selected a collection of Elvis'
worldwide hit titles as he musically blends them
together in such a unique fashion no other
songwriter has ever created. The 42 title names
commemorate each of the 42 years of Elvis'
incredible life.
The
legendary Connie Francis sold more than 120 million
records worldwide. David paid tribute to
Connie by writing a new song entitled "Italian
Jersey Songbird", a number that tells the story
of her life from New Jersey to her rise to the top
of the entertainment world.
